Details: If you are a citizen of Singapore, Malaysia or Brunei you do not need a visa to enter Sweden. A visa is required for citizens of certain other countries. The following documents should be submitted to the Embassy of Sweden. General requirements
Duly filled in application form
Photo, passport size not older than one year
Valid passport, or other travel document
Employment-/ Dependentpass or IC for P.R.
Airline ticket or itinerary, confirmed around trip
Special requirements:
A. Business visit
Sponsor letter from the company in Singapore
Invitation letter from the Swedish company, faxed directly to the embassy
Proof of accomodation, confirmed hotel booking
B. Visit family or friends
Invitation letter, possible copy of birth certificate (i.e. Personbevis)
C. General tourism
Tour itinerary including confirmed hotel booking
Letter from employer (position, salary and employment contract validity)
Latest bank account statement / letter from bank
A fee will be charged for all visa applications whether they are approved or not. The fee is not refundable. The current fee is S$ 50, but the fee varies according to the currency exchange rate.
