Details: Slovak Embassy in Ottawa accepts only Canadian currency paid in cash, by money order or certified check payable to the Slovak Embassy. Due to the currency fluctuation, if this information has been issued more than 1 month ago, check the fee with the Embassy. The visa is valid for maximum 3 months from the date of issue. The applicant for visa extension has to apply latest 7 days before visa expiration date at local Foreign Police Office in Slovakia. Application form is a part of the visa. Visa holders intending to stay in Slovakia more than 30 days must register with Foreign Police Office within 3 weekdays from their entry to Slovakia. They need not register with the police if they stay in a hotel.
